The courageous and powerful Brooks Koepka bursts onto the BIG TIME by winning the US Open at Erin Hills

DST user Brooks Koepka chose an alternative route to learn his trade. Instead of pursuing an early career path by playing on the Web.com Tour after college, Brooks packed his bags to experience broader horizons and play the European Challenge Tour.  The experience gained from having to travel to unknown countries and not only operate but win, generated Brooks an unshakable confidence. He won 4 times in less than 6 months by a combined 23 shots!, earning himself a battlefield promotion to the European Tour for the 2014 season. Through the use of a tournament invitation to the Fry’s Open on the PGA Tour he landed both Rookie of the Year on the European and the PGA Tour’s with a 4th place finish at Pinehurst in the 2014 US Open. All this validated his decision to ply his trade in foreign lands.

It’s great to see Brooks and his coach Claude Harmon III break through to land their first Major and judging by the comfort with which he played the final round we can expect to see him win many more. Congratulations Brooks.
